Ting-a-lings. Makes about 2 dozen. Ingredients: 12 ounces dark chocolate chips; 6 ounces butterscotch chips; 1 cup salted peanuts (no skins) 2 cups chow-mein noodles (La Choy brand is easy to find)

1 cup salted peanuts. candy sprinkles, optional. Instructions: Line cookie sheet with wax paper or parchment paper. Melt candy coating in medium sauce pan over low heat, stirring constantly. Gently stir in chow mein noodles and peanuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lined cookie sheet. Sprinkle with candy sprinkles if desired.

Melt the chocolate and butterscotch chips in a double-boiler. Remove from heat and stir in the noodles and peanuts. Drop mixture by the tablespoon onto the wax paper. Let cool and set. If your room is hot (like our kitchen was) you'll want to transfer the candy to the fridge to set.

Melt peanut butter and chocolate chips in a large heat-proof bowl over hot water. You want the bowl large enough to hold the corn flakes as well as the chocolate. When melted stir in corn flakes and nuts. Drop by tablespoons into mini cupcake liners or onto waxed or parchment paper. Let set before removing.
