These buttery sugar cookies are beyond easy to make but so incredibly delicious! In this recipe, I use a little sour cream in my cookie dough which makes them so soft and moist!

Preheat the oven to 350F. Cream together the butter and sugar with a mixer until smooth. Beat in the vanilla extract and egg. In another bowl, combine the flour and baking powder and mix well. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients a little at a time.
