Just closed my account from trip.com One of the most worst booking site on internet trip.com and AirAsia airline. when i booked my flight ticket for my mom from perth to kathmandu first they didn't for asked any sort of documents to book a ticket and didn't mention anything in booking before i bought the ticket. Used trip.com to purchase four seasons Chiang mai. Was confirmed a week ago, now we are about to fly to Chiang Mai and check into hotel and we get email saying the reservation had to be cancelled. Trip.com cancelled our reservation THE DAY OF check in. The new price to book at the hotel is twice as much.

Their "Self Transfer Guarantee" is a scam, do not rely on it to be of any use if you miss your connecting flight. Trip.com will sell you a cheap ticket combining flight itineraries that are impossible to make due to an insufficient transfer time. Avoid booking flights through Trip.com and book through the airline directly to avoid the headache.

Hi, I had the similar issues as you guys. Booked a round trip flight with good price and got emailed said last leg of flight was cancel. And keep calling them and emailing them almost 10 times to reschedule and they said airlines denied our new schedule and not a penny gets refund.

i am based in australia and used trip.com via skyscanner.com to book a flight from AKL to MELB. i was very hesitant at first, but with baggage inc, the flight using Virgin, was $100 cheaper than others, so i closed my eyes and booked it!!!. one of the conditions was that the ticket would not be issued straight away after booking, but within 72 hours of the flight departure.

The cost to buy my ticket (a round-trip flight from California to Las Vegas) was $33 from trip.com but $44 from Frontier.com. Generally I travel to Las Vegas for longer (and more expensive) trips, but for this trip, it was not worth it for me to pay the usual $150 round trip. I was either going to travel cheaply or just not go at all.

I have just gone on too trip.com and am clearly shown flights SYD/PER in Singapore $'s straight up, so need to see to change the currency, which is simple to do at top right of page. So, changed to AU$ and see a Qantas flight from trip.com and the same flight from Qantas direct booking AU$18 more direct with Q incl luggage.
