I have been with them for years! Ok, my card was about to expire in 2 days, so I'm like let's give them a call because I haven't received a new card. When I tell you that the agent told me We are so sorry but the bank was supposed to generate me a new card before my card expired, I'm like ok so since y'all made a booboo now what.all you have to wait for 7 to 10 business days for my new card.I am highly upset.I told them y'all really drop the ball on this one. I have bills and things to do. All they kept telling me We are so sorry?.Now put in mind where I'm at now They don't have a PNC Branch where I'm at (Outoftown)??!Why wouldn't they send a card Out through rush delivery....when I tell y'all I am so Maddd!

I love the Smart Access Card. It's easy to deposit in as well as transferring funds into it if you have a checking or savings account. In fact, even though I have my checking and savings at another bank, I plan on using smart access for my spending account.

I have the PNC SmartAccess Prepaid Debit Card, and I've had a great experience with PNC Bank. Every time I call PNC SmartAccess customer service I always get greeted with excellent customer service, they are always so helpful, knowledge, and kind. When I did have small issues they was resolved within 24 hours, or even that minute. I can't say anything about there checking accounts, savings, loans, mortgages, etc. However, there prepaid department is phenomenal. I love my account, I love my card, and I am not a fancy person as a young adult. The card works perfectly for me. I receive my direct deposits, I can use it at the gas pump, I can buy all my needs in store, online, and over the phone, so it's a perfect card for simple people. I don't use cash app, Venmo, or any of that mess nor do I use Zelle. I think PNC is a great choice! I love this card because it's given me a second chance at banking, because I am in chexsystems and ews and I am thankful for PNC giving me a card that's from them, a trustable bank with tons of branches. The card is my favorite. I am a credit union member, but I do prefer my prepaid card from PNC because it's everything I need, I can't overdraft which is good, and it's smart and simple with a low $5.00 fee. ? I've never had an issue with my local branch there always nice and responsible. I am a regular PNC customer I can do the same as everyone else. I can deposit and withdrawal at the ATM, inside the branch, and drive-thru. Yes, there's limits with deposits, withdrawals and you can only spend $2,500 a day but I go no where near that and I live paycheck to paycheck so again this is an excellent card, and it's a good choice for people who are simple, in chexsystems or ews, need a reliable card with a great bank, teens, or even people getting there foot in the door for a first time card holder, or having a bank account.

Received prepaid card without asking for it. Called to ask if i have to return if I don't want and won't activate, but waited 20 minutes on hold. Then when it finally rang, it rang and rang and rang. No one answered, Shows what this bank thinks of its customers. Never will be a customer. Still ringing... I never leave opinions/reviews, but this is such bad service. And still ringing......So glad I'm not a customer.

I have the PNC SmartAccess card! I love it so much! 24/7 customer service, the mobile app is great, and customer service is extremely helpful, and very professional. (I have a personal account with Wells Fargo, I love, love them) I wanted a 2nd option when it came too my banking, and money. So, I was on PNC and came across the SmartAccess. I read about it and said; this is a great option for me. I have never thought I would love a prepaid card until I met the SmartAccess, it is a great option. It's a prepaid Visa, and it's just like a regular debit card except you can't overdraft, and it's not linked to a checking account. For a prepaid card, the SmartAccess is very modern, and I love how I have access 24/7 on the mobile app is well, the app is great and works well to no issues that I have encountered. I actually recommend the card. Like I said; I have a checking account so, I love this option and every time I walk into PNC to upload money it's FREE! And FREE to withdraw from any PNC ATM or Branch, however, I do not like the fee for none- PNC ATMs or to add money at a none-PNC Branch. It is a great card!.

Wanted a bank rather than, NetSpend, etc, though funds are deposited 2 days early, unlike PNC. And, getting credit on disputed charges is impossible! They act as though it's not your own money, that you seek credit on!!!!! I do not recommend PNC.

The lady I spoke with had an attitude, she didn’t care that I was confused. I felt like I was the one in the WRONG simply for asking questions about transactions on my card. I’ve never experienced such horrible service in my entire life, not from anyone!!! I wouldn’t recommended this company to anyone! Or do people with SmartAccess cards get crappy service because it’s a “prepaid” card...

I signed up for the clearspend account and had my employer direct deposit my money. I requested my company to update my deposit amount due to min deposit amount. They didn't and the bank frozen my acct. I can't touch nor have my own money until after they finish the investigation. I don't understand what they need to investigate into. My company paid a bonus once a year. LET ME HAVE MY MONEY THAT I WORKED HARD FOR. Let me pay my bills and don't let anything bounce.

s op fened a Visa Clearspend prepaid card. I got the card and funded it with $25 .A few days later I log into my account and it was closed. No notice and no reason. The customer service is horrible and a bank branch has limited access to accounts and has to call the regular customer service number which is worthless..They send multiple requests into their back office with no results. My funds were sitting there and nothing was being done. After many days and hours on the phone I found posted their internal number they wont give you. (205) 297-3000 its the corporate office in Alabama. I called and they actually released the money to me to pick up at a branch.I don't recommend this card anyone. Its great for the no fees but its impossible to deal with them.Someone could have a direct deposit and if they decide to close your account your stuck . Thankfully I found their back office number.Maybe it will help someone else.
